At Tyrants Volleyball Club, a commitment to our program means a commitment to the full club season, beginning in the Fall and ending in the Summer. Our year-round approach is designed to maximize player growth, team development, and exposure to elite competition.

Girls Club Season Overview

2025-2026 Girls Tryouts

RSVP below to receive updates on time and location for our Fall tryouts.

  • Practices begin in November and continue through May.

  • Teams compete in the NCVA Power League, with five competitive tournament weekends.

  • Each team attends 2-3 USAV National Qualifiers and 1-2 NCVA/JVA Non-League Events

Season Timeline

By joining Tyrants, players are committing to the full season from Fall-Summer.

November — May

Practice Schedule

Our teams train three times per week, combining technical skill drills, game play, and physical conditioning.

On top of that, we offer evening positional training (included in your fees) to help players sharpen their skills with focused reps in their primary roles.

Tournament Schedule

We compete in:

  • The NCVA Power League

  • NCVA/JVA Non-league Events

  • USAV QualifIer tournaments, including (not limited to):

    • Red Rock Rave Qualifier (Mar)

    • Windy City Qualifier (Mar)

    • Pacific Northwest Qualifier (Apr)

    • Lone Star Qualifier (Apr)

    • Far Western Qualifier (Apr)

Film Review &

Analysis

After key qualifying tournaments, each team will participate in a film review session led by our Club Directors. These sessions are designed to help athletes:

  • Analyze in-game decision-making

  • Break down mechanics, team systems, and game strategies

  • Identify strengths/weaknesses and areas for improvement

  • Build volleyball IQ and court awareness

Our goal is to turn game footage into a powerful tool for individual and team development. Film review is included as part of your season experience at Tyrants.

Weekly

Positional Training & Conditioning

As part of our commitment to athlete development, Tyrants athletes receive weekly positional training and conditioning sessions on weekday evenings, included in club fees.

These sessions offer players the chance to:

  • Work with athletes from other Tyrants teams

  • Refine position-specific skills with focused coaching

  • Improve speed, strength, and agility through tailored conditioning
