    About Taylor

    Taylor Ho is a respected leader and veteran coach in Northern California’s club volleyball community, bringing over 13 years of coaching and leadership experience to the launch of his newest venture — Tyrants Volleyball Club. With a proven record of developing high-level athletes and building successful programs, Taylor is focused on creating a club culture rooted in elite training, opportunity, and character.

  • Paolo Castillo, Director/Co-Founder

    About Paolo

    Paolo Castillo is a dedicated coach and leader with nearly 10 years of experience in Northern California’s volleyball scene. As the founder of Tyrants Volleyball Club, he is committed to creating an environment that prioritizes elite training, opportunity, and strong character. Paolo has a proven track record of leading teams to success and developing high-level athletes for collegiate competition. A Bay Area native, his lifelong love for volleyball drives his commitment to helping players reach their highest potential. Outside of coaching, Paolo works in biotech, contributing to advancing cancer research. He is a graduate of UC Davis and holds master’s degrees from both UC Berkeley and USC. He is excited to build a program that not only promotes the high-level technical development of its athletes but also fosters a strong, family-like club culture.

    ● Created the first club beach volleyball program at UC Davis, competing as part of the “2’s” pair

    ● Played on a local 9-man team called San Francisco Dragons, placing 4th at the National Championships in Oakland in 2022

    ● Competed with a local semi-professional VLA team from San Jose, playing alongside and against former Division 1 athletes

  • Azariah Hill

    Tyrants 18 Black

    About Azariah

    Azariah is a Bay Area native, raised in Alameda, CA. He graduated from Encinal High School and went on to play college volleyball at Orange Coast College. He later transferred to San Jose State University, where he majored in Communications.

    Coaching & Leadership Experience

    With 8 years of coaching experience, Azariah Hill has established a strong presence in the Northern California volleyball community. He is a former coach at Red Rock Volleyball Club, where he played a key role in developing elite-level athletes. Currently, he serves as the Boys Volleyball Director at Berkeley High School, leading one of the top public-school programs in the Bay Area.

    Azariah is also the founder and owner of Haus of Barbz, which includes Barbz Academy—a high-level training program focused on youth and adult skill development—and Playhaus Tournaments, a competitive series drawing talent from across the country. His passion for the game, combined with his innovative approach to training and community-building, continues to shape the next generation of volleyball athletes.

  • Alejandro Luna-Victoria

    About Alejandro

    Alejandro Luna-Victoria is a Bay Area Native who grew up in Redwood City. He has almost a decade of experience as a player and coach. He played at Sequoia High School and Bay to Bay Volleyball Club, competing as both an outside hitter and a middle blocker, and has coached at both the high school and club levels. 

    He is currently a San Jose State University student studying Kinesiology with a specialty in Rehabilitation Science. He hopes to play on the San Jose State club team this fall. After graduating, Alejandro plans to go to Southern California and get his doctorate in physical therapy while continuing to coach at a high level. He is also a personal trainer specializing in overall fitness, conditioning, and nutrition. 

    Outside of volleyball, Alejandro enjoys working out and anything that involves music, and is always looking for new ways to stay active and enjoy life. 

    His positive energy and experience show in the way he coaches. He takes pride in helping athletes grow not only as players but also as individuals. He is excited to be part of the Tyrants Volleyball family and looks forward to helping each player reach their full potential.

    About Jhianna 

    Jhianna Santos is a recent UC Davis graduate that’s been coaching since she was 16 years old. She’s coached indoor and outdoor volleyball for boys and girls of all ages. While at UC Davis, Jhianna played Women’s Club Volleyball and she lead her team to a National Championship in Kansas City, Missouri. She also lead her high school team to 3 League Championships. Jhianna’s competitive spirit and knowledge shows through her coaching. She is excited to coach future teams so they can excel as athletes and as people.

    About Jonathan

    Jonathan Santos is an experienced coach and decorated former collegiate libero who brings over a decade of high-level playing and coaching experience to the volleyball community. With a strong foundation built through club, high school, collegiate, and national-level competition, Jonathan is dedicated to player development through discipline, technique, and fostering a love for the game.

  • Paige Mountanos

    About Paige

    Paige is a Bay Area native and has played volleyball since she was 10 years old, finishing her club career competing for Rage Westside Volleyball Club as an opposite. She coached seasonally at Red Rock (when home from college) from 2021 to 2025, coaching multiple boys teams under Paolo Castillo. 

    Paige currently plays collegiate NCAA collegiate volleyball at Pomona College as an outside and is pursuing a degree in Chemistry. She has been a starter since her freshman year and has been captain since her sophomore year, while also earning multiple 1st Team All Conference awards, multiple Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week recognitions, repeated College Sports Committee All Academic District Team placements, team Offensive Player of the Year, and team MVP of the Year. 

  • Riley Holland

    Tyrants 15 Black

    About Riley

    Riley grew up in the Bay Area and has been around volleyball since she was 8 years old. She established herself in the club volleyball world by playing two years of 12U at Red Rock Volleyball Club then went on to play the rest of her club career at Vision Volleyball Club as a libero and occasional OH. She has won multiple national qualifiers, earned first in the NCVA four times including a perfect league record her 15U year, and qualified for nationals six times in the Open and National divisions. She also was a four-year varsity DS/Libero at Menlo School and was a member of the only team to win the state championship in Menlo School history in 2016. Whilst attending Tulane University and majoring in neuroscience and biochemistry, she played club volleyball traveling to various states to compete against other schools every year.

    Coaching & Leadership Experience

    Since returning to the Bay Area from New Orleans, Riley has coached 2 seasons of girls at Red Rock and will begin her third season at Vision. She has since returned to Menlo to coach the high school varsity program as well as the 6th-8th grade teams. She has one season of boys coaching experience under her belt serving as Taylor’s assistant to their 14U team’s 5th place overall finish at the 2025 AAU Nationals.

  • Shane Dunlevie

    About Shane

    Shane Dunlevie is a Bay Area local with over eight years of competitive volleyball experience. He began his career playing four years of high school volleyball at Menlo-Atherton High School before continuing his passion at Arizona State University, where he competed for four years on the men’s club team. Throughout his playing career, Shane developed versatility on the court, gaining experience as a Middle, Opposite, and Outside hitter. While at ASU, he also served as a practice player for the women’s Division I team and coached an 18s boys club team, further expanding his knowledge and understanding of the game. Shane brings a strong foundation in both playing and coaching and is excited to share his experience and enthusiasm with the Tyrants Volleyball Club.

    Coaching & Playing Experience

    - Multisport athlete throughout high school and College, winning several awards for soccer during high school

    - Coached a boys club team at Aspire Volleyball

    - Placed 3rd in the NVVF Division III Competition in 2022, acting as a right side

    - Placed 8th in the NCVF Division I Competition in 2023, acting as a middle

    - Placed 1st in the SCCVL Division III competition in 2024, acting as an outside, and finished that season in 3rd for the NCVF Division III rankings

    - Acted as a practice player for the ASU women’s Division I program in 2023, 2024, and 2025, where he would help them as a middle, outside, right side, and sometimes even setter.

  • Youki Bradley

    Tyrants 17 Black

    About Youki

    Youki Bradley was born in Los Angeles and raised in the Walnut Creek area. She played all four years of high school volleyball on the varsity team at Las Lomas High School. Her junior year of high school, her high school team won the North Coast Section and finished 4th in the state. Youki played 7 years of club volleyball in the NCVA, starting from the age of 11 years old. As a club player, her teams qualified for the Junior National Tournament during her  seasons from her 13s to her final 18s season.

    Coaching & Leadership Experience

    Youki has been a club coach since she was 18 years old. It became her second job once she graduated high school. She has coached both boys and girls volleyball for a number of high schools and clubs in the East Bay area. Seven of the teams she has coached in the past 9 years have been Junior National Qualifying teams.

    Youki previously spent four years running the Girls and Boys volleyball program at Clayton Valley Charter High School as the Varsity Head Coach until the Spring of 2021.

    Most recently Youki finished coaching three seasons at Red Rock Volleyball Club. She was the assistant to Girls 14-1 Taylor team in 2023- 2024, who double-qualified for nationals and finished 3rd in NCVA.  She was also the assistant coach to Red Rock Boys 18-Taylor. This team went to Junior Nationals and brought home a bronze medal in 2023 and finished 5th at nationals in the summer 2024!

    She hopes to continue pursuing coaching club volleyball as a career, and will one day open an animal rescue to help provide sanctuary to any animal in need. Youki is looking forward to joining Tyrants for their inaugural season!
